Our Story
Rooted in the Upper Peninsula, Baked with Purpose
The Cornish pasty traveled from the mines of Cornwall to the copper and timber country of Michigan's Upper Peninsula over a century ago. It was designed as a one-handed, filling meal for miners — and the tradition has held strong ever since.
At The Pasty Corner on West Adams Street, we keep that tradition alive. Every pasty is lined by hand, filled with real ingredients, and sealed with the classic rope crimp before going into the oven. We source locally wherever we can and never cut corners on what goes inside.
Whether you're a lifelong Iron River resident or just passing through the UP, we want this to be the kind of place you come back to — where a good meal is just a walk in.
